This extraordinary group of students represent our universitys Leaders and Best and join a family of 150 past Difference Makers in what is becoming one of our most treasured traditions, said Stanley E. Henderson, vice chancellor for enrollment management and student life.
That tradition now is in its fourth year. The Difference Maker program began during the universitys 50th anniversary celebration and continued after receiving overwhelming support from faculty and staff across campus.
Students were recognized at the annual Student Leadership Awards on April 10. They also will be highlighted in university materials, be featured in an ad in Crains Detroit Business and receive a Difference Makers fleece jacket.
