New Ann Arbor Parking Update:
Beginning July 1, 2025, the Ann Arbor campus will transition to a license plate recognition system鈥攜our license plate will serve as your parking permit. As a result, physical permits (including Dearborn permits) will no longer be accepted in Ann Arbor.

You鈥檒l still be able to park by purchasing a daily or annual Ann Arbor permit. To do so, visit the Ann Arbor parking website (available starting May 1) and create an account using the 鈥渢hird party鈥 icon. After submitting your request, you鈥檒l receive a response within 1鈥2 business days.

  • Annual permits: Estimated $200鈥$1,000, based on color tier.
  • Daily permits: $8/day (pending FY26 rate approval).

Entry/exit at gated lots will require your Mcard, and your license plate must face the drive lane for recognition.

If you plan to park in Ann Arbor in July or August, please email [email protected] to confirm your eligibility and ensure your access is set up.
