Michigan's Department of Environment, Great Lakes, & Energy (EGLE) is hosting its Circular Economy Showcase Event at our very own Renick University Center on Wednesday, June 25 from 1pm-6pm. Registration is Required.

The Showcase is the culminating event of the NextCycle Michigan Accelerator. After six months of coaching and working to refine project plans, identify supply chains, create marketing strategies, and calculate impacts, 17 teams are poised to pitch their projects. Watch as they appeal to potential investors and partners while competing for monetary awards.

Join to network and listen to the pitches alongside the audience of fellow ��-Dearborn students and colleagues, business leaders, public sector decision-makers, recycling industry representatives, community groups, and investors to witness changemakers building Michigan’s circular economy. 🔄 ♻

Registration is Required. Students, faculty, staff, and general public are invited to join!

Hack Dearborn is back and better than ever! The first ever MLH-supported and large-scale hackathon at the �� Dearborn campus returns for its fourth installment. This October, we are rewinding reality back to a time where everything in tech was simpler... or was it? Find out all about our cool new tracks and challenges linked on our website below.

What is Hack Dearborn? Hack Dearborn is a free, 24+ hour event at the ��-Dearborn campus. There will be lots of free food, swag, talks, hands-on workshops (presented by Googlers), games and raffles. There will be opportunities to win exciting prizes... coming soon. You can participate in a team of up to 4 members and if you win, everyone gets one prize each.

We are a beginner-friendly hackathon and highly encourage you to attend ESPECIALLY if you are a beginner. We have special prizes that are reserved for those who identify as a beginner, plus tons of mentors and workshops to help you learn new skills and build something during the event.

It's also a great networking and job-hunting event. Before the opening ceremony, there will be a sponsor fair where attendees can interact with recruiters and representatives from these companies for internships and job opportunities.

GirlsGetMath@Dearborn is a week-long applied mathematics program at the University of Michigan – Dearborn. High school students are invited to explore topics in applied mathematics such as image processing, graph theory, mathematics of voting, recommendation systems, and cryptology. Activities include games, interactive lectures, daily computer lab activities, panel discussions on careers in STEM fields and college applications.

The program will run from June 23 to 27, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm and is free for all admitted participants!
