After six months of coaching and working to refine project plans, identify supply chains, create marketing strategies, and calculate impacts, 17 teams are poised to pitch their projects. The first ever MLH-supported and large-scale hackathon at the ÂÜÀòÉç Dearborn campus returns for its fourth installment. This October, we are rewinding reality back to a time where everything in tech was simpler... or was it? Find out all about our cool new tracks and challenges linked on our website below.</p><p>What is Hack Dearborn? Hack Dearborn is a free, 24+ hour event at the ÂÜÀòÉç-Dearborn campus. There will be lots of free food, swag, talks, hands-on workshops (presented by Googlers), games and raffles. There will be opportunities to win exciting prizes... coming soon. You can participate in a team of up to 4 members and if you win, everyone gets one prize each.</p><p>We are a beginner-friendly hackathon and highly encourage you to attend ESPECIALLY if you are a beginner. We have special prizes that are reserved for those who identify as a beginner, plus tons of mentors and workshops to help you learn new skills and build something during the event.</p><p>It's also a great networking and job-hunting event. High school students are invited to explore topics in applied mathematics such as image processing, graph theory, mathematics of voting, recommendation systems, and cryptology.
