The tuition and fee schedule can be used to estimate your per term charges. It is reviewed and approved each year by the University of Michigan Board of Regents. Rates are finalized each summer for the upcoming academic year and have averaged 3-5% increases in recent years. What a student actually pays depends on the amount of financial aid received.

At the graduate level, a full-time course load for enrollment certification, financial aid, and visa-related purposes is eight credits. See the  for complete information. Most graduate courses are three credit hours each, so full-time status generally requires registering for three courses per term.

You must be registered at least half-time (four credits) to be eligible for federal financial aid (Unsubsidized Direct Loans, Grad PLUS Loans at the graduate level). Institutional aid (Dearborn Graduate Scholarship) has a different minimum enrollment threshold, which will be detailed in individual terms and conditions.
