Advising and Registration
Academic advisors provide information about program requirements, University policies and procedures, and campus resources.
Advising appointments are available Monday - Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Appointment times before 8am and after 5pm can be made upon request. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and must be rescheduled if arrival time is 10 minutes beyond the scheduled start time.

Students are able to meet with an advisor on a first come, first serve basis Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm in person or . Drop-ins are intended for quick questions, such as:
- Registration questions
- Referral to campus resources
- Clarification of policy, procedure or deadline
Registration
Your registration date is determined by the corresponding date on the Registration Timetable.
- Identify your first day of eligibility.
- Register on-line through the self-service portal.
- You may change your schedule up through the term's add/drop deadline.
Closed Courses
- If a course is full, you are advised to place yourself on the waitlist.
- If space becomes available you will be contacted by the Registrar's Office via your 蹤獲扦-Dearborn email.
If you have a registration hold, you may 'Browse Classes' to view the schedule while you work to have the hold released.
Students who have a registration hold must meet with an advisor to have the hold removed prior to registering for an upcoming semester. We send an email to notify students of this requirement weeks before registration begins.
Required Advising
BBA students are required to meet with an academic advisor twice a year.
- August 1 begins the advising period for winter registration.
- January 1 begins the advising period for summer and fall registration.
Graduation Plans
BBA students who are approaching senior standing are required to complete a Graduation Plan. This is a term-by-term course plan which identifies the program requirements still needed for completion of degree requirements and the best course of action to complete them.
Probation
Any student whose cumulative, business, or major GPA has dropped below 2.0 are placed on probation. These students are required to meet with an advisor concerning probationary status and sign a probation contract.

Electronic Transcripts
If you have taken courses at another school and are utilizing an electronic transcript service to have them delivered to this office, order them to be sent to [email protected].
