Ara Sanjian Serving as an International Consultant on a Research Grant Project in Armenia

Ara Sanjian will serve as the international consultant to a team of young researchers at the Faculty of History at Yerevan State University. This team has recently secured a two-year research grant from the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports in Armenia.
The research team, led by Dr. Tigran Ghanalanyan, is conducting a study on "The Choices of Staying Put, Emigrating, and Repatriating in the Contemporary Armenian Diaspora," with a focus on the case studies of Armenians in Lebaon and South America.

Armenian Research Center Completes a Major Community Study in the Metro-Detroit Area

The Armenian Research Center, in collaboration with St. John Armenian Apostolic Church, has completed the "St. John Armenian Apostolic Church Community Study."
The study examined parishioners’ experiences with church services and identified areas for improvement. Combining quantitative and qualitative methods in two phases—a survey from September to October 2023 and four focus groups in February and March—the study highlighted the matufaceted nature of the Church as an institution, which encompasses religious/spiritual, ethnic/cultural, social/communal, emotional/personal and organizational/administrative dimensions.
The key findings of the study were presented to the St. John's Parish Assembly on March 2, 2025.
